What Is a Tick?
STEP 1 · LEARN
A tick is a single price update — the market moving from one value to the next. It's the smallest unit of movement you can observe, and everything else you'll learn (digits, momentum, deviation) is built by looking at many ticks together.
One tick tells you almost nothing on its own. A trading setup is never built from a single tick — it's built from a pattern across many of them.
