Sample Size
STEP 1 · LEARN
Sample size is how many observations you're working with. Small samples swing wildly around the expected value; large samples settle closer to it over time.
A big swing in 20 ticks means far less than the same swing would mean in 2,000.
STEP 2 · SEE
20 TICKSSmall sample — swings look dramatic but mean little.
2,000 TICKSLarge sample — settles closer to the expected value.
STEP 3 · PRACTICE
Why does sample size matter?
ABigger samples always guarantee profit
BSmall samples can show misleading swings that shrink as the sample grows
CSample size has no effect on analysis
DIt only matters for foundation lessons
CORRECT ✓
Small samples are noisier — as the sample grows, results tend to settle closer to the expected value.
NOT QUITE
This isn't about profit — it's about how reliable a percentage is, based on how much data it's built from.
